Temporary Waste Collection Point Opens

There will be an additional waste collection point in Kirk Sandall over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend.

On a temporary basis, the site at Sandall Stones Road, Doncaster, DN3 1QR, will be open on Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Monday 5 April (7am - 4pm).

Only cars and permitted small vans (vans must be displaying the permit obtained for any of the 6 HWRCs in Doncaster) will be allowed to book. You must use the booking system to enter this particular site. You can book here: www.doncaster.simplybook.it  and you will receive email confirmation of your booking.

Please note that this service is for bagged waste from households only and is not for bulky waste or non-household items. All waste must be contained in bags.

The following items will NOT be accepted:

• Bricks/Rubble
• Sharps/Needles
• Explosives/Fireworks
• Chemicals/Paints
• Liquids
• Clinical Waste
• Asbestos
• Oil Drums/Containers
• Gas Cylinders/Canisters
• Tyres
• Hazardous Wood (sleepers/treated shed panels etc)
• Electrical Items / White Goods
• Plasterboard/Gypsum
• Car Parts & Batteries


All other Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) will remain open as normal over the Easter weekend. When visiting, please maintain social distancing, be patient, respect – and cooperate with – our staff and look to visit at quieter times.
