Andy’s Man Club Conisbrough coming soon

Save the date! Andys Man Club Conisbrough will be opening its doors for the very first time Monday 27th January @ 19:00 and we will be located at Conisbrough Community Library, Old Road, Conisbrough, Doncaster, DN12 3ND.

At Andys Man Club we provide peer to peer support for any man over the age of 18. We want to put a stop to the stigma that surrounds men’s mental health and offer a safe space for men to come and talk to other like minded individual’s who have been in a similar situation. Free of charge, no referrals, no pressure and no judgement. ANDYSMANCLUB now has over 200 free support groups nationwide, running every Monday from 7PM except bank holidays. In these groups, men can open up about the storms affecting their lives in a safe, judgement-free and non-clinical environment. Our clubs are designed to be free of pressure, there is no obligation for men to speak, they can simply listen if they wish.

Andy’s Man Club Conisbrough is now the 5th group to open at Andys Man Club Doncaster and has been in the making for some time and for it to now be opening we have the potential to support a large amount of men who may feel like they have nowhere else to turn. You don’t have to be from Conisbrough to attend - you can be from anywhere in the uk and our doors will be open to you.

Daniel Smith & Ben Rhodes will be doing an awareness stall on Saturday at 18th January at Conisbrough Sainsbury’s and they are there all day. We would love to see some of you there, Dan & Ben will be able to answer any questions you might have as well as having wristbands & posters to give out. We then have a walk & talk Sunday 19th January at approximately 10:30am from the Earth Centre (DN12 4EH) in Conisbrough to the Viaducts and then back to the earth centre. Walk and Talks are an opportunity to bring family, friends, partners & pets and to talk about whatever might be on our minds! There is disabled access as well as parking at the postcode stated, if we get lots of faces show up then there is additional parking at the train station which is a 2 minute walk to the earth centre and also has disabled access (one of the lads will be situated at the train station if this is to happen and we will update our social media page to let people know). After the walk and talk for those who are interested we will be going to grab a bite to eat and / or refreshing drink.
