A Celebration of the Music of Elton John & Billy Joel
Featuring singer-songwriter John Reilly, whose band Boy on a Dolphin found success in Canada and the US in the nineties, since then his solo albums have received both national and international airplay. Alongside John is Canadian pianist and songwriter Lewis Nitikman, former staff writer at EMI and producer of 3 gold albums in Canada.
This will be a truly unique evening of stunning vocals and outstanding piano, expect to hear all your favourite Elton and Billy tunes including ‘Your Song’, ‘Daniel’, ‘Just the Way You Are’ and ‘Piano Man’ but also some you may not be so familiar with.
So this is not a tribute. No dressing up. No miming. No backing tracks. Just two consummate professionals celebrating amazing, timeless songs, performed from the heart in a show that has people on their feet, moved and shouting for more from a world class singer and a world class pianist sincerely and honestly honouring Elton John and Billy Joel, who have both been a huge influence on their careers.
